Specialised logistics development
Zona Franca (Barcelona)

A specialised logistics development located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, within the main logistics corridor of the Barcelona metropolitan area. The asset has been designed for the storage and distribution of refrigerated and frozen products, combining high-capacity operational infrastructure with a strategic location close to the Port of Barcelona, Mercabarna and Barcelona–El Prat Airport.

The Cold-Storage Logistics Platform is a project promoted by NEDERVAL and IGC Development to meet the needs of specialised food logistics and cold-chain operators. The development combines high-performance infrastructure with a strategic location in one of southern Europe’s main logistics hubs. The asset has been designed to maximise operational efficiency through a flexible configuration supporting different storage solutions and operating models. It integrates temperature-controlled storage, order-picking areas and offices, meeting the technical standards required by specialist operators.

Its proximity to Mercabarna, the Port of Barcelona and Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport positions it as a key logistics asset for the distribution of fresh and frozen products, creating a value proposition based on specialisation, operational efficiency and logistics connectivity.
